Workplace Investigations

Karen can assist with thorough, objective, legally-compliant investigations of employment matters involving sexual harassment, workplace bullying, discrimination, other forms of harassment, misconduct, ethics violations, employee complaints against HR/management/senior leadership, CEO or C-suite investigations, improper workplace romances, workplace violence and failure to provide reasonable accommodations.

Karen conducted dozens of investigations into allegations of harassment, bullying, and other misconduct, rendering findings and conclusions, including for various state agencies, a medical practice, school system, local board, property management organization, municipality, and hospital system.


Title IX

Karen Michael has been fully trained in the new Title IX regulations that went into effect on August 14, 2020. Organizations that must comply with Title IX understand the need for objective and unbiased assistance in evaluating Title IX issues within universities, colleges, and other schools mandated by Title IX requirements.

Karen can offer the following services to organizations and can serve in any of the following roles:
